Ok, here comes another one down the pipe… Released today Thursday 19th of August, 2010.

I have slowly weaned myself from the addiction of checking out every new offer that hits my email each day. So when I first got the “friendly note” from a guru (nameless to protect them), I had the knee jerk reaction to just hit delete but because the note was short (very short) I had a chance to read it as I was moving my cursor towards the delete button…

Dang-it! NOW I have to at least look at it…the promise is SO overwhelming…

Initially, I thought, ok, just another lame product launch….but for whatever reason, the $39 price point was low enough to make me hit the “order now” button…

Here is the bad news….. $39 gets you the software… the training and other ULTRA necessary information costs you either $77 MORE , $97 MORE, or $197 MORE…

So expect to pay at least the $77 more to feel like you aren’t missing out on something vital. For a low total of $116 or a high total of $333…

The biggest problem when you are starting out in
your internet marketing career is money, and that
seems to be what everyone wants.

Now I don’t have a problem with paying for hard
earned and VALUABLE knowledge, but most of what
is out there is rehashed garbage, designed for
the sole purpose of separating a fool from his money.

I know, I’ve been the fool so many times I can’t
even count it…Ok, I could, but I don’t WANT to
count it. It’s embarrassing.

So if you’re new to internet marketing, or not
where you want to be yet, and need a way to generate
some income fast.

How do you do it?

Well, if you are one of those gurus, and you need
some cash to get the motor running for your new
Porsche, you just send out an email to your list,
offer them the latest money making program and in
literally a few hours to a few days, you can make a
LOT of money….depending on the list size of course.

But you are not a seasoned Guru (yet)

Ok, so you’re new to internet marketing or maybe you’re
not new, but you don’t have your own mailing list yet!

So whatever the reason, you don’t have a list and you
don’t have $1000-$5000 to do a proper PPC test with
Google Adwords.

How do you promote the affiliate product you know people
want to buy?

Well, you could do SEO and get free traffic…but then again,
that takes time. Maybe you need money right now, maybe you
just don’t have that kind of time?

I. What is a solo mailing ?

A solo mailing (sometimes called a solo ad) is where YOUR
selling message gets sent by email to a mailing list of
people who are interested in what you are selling.

Basically, It’s when you mail to someone elses’ list.

It is super simple, super easy and best of all SUPER FAST.

Here’s how it works…

1. Convince some marketer with a big list to send your selling message as a joint venture.

[Good luck unless you are a "big name" already]

2. Buy a solo ad from an ezine publisher.

[This is my choice hint: should be yours too]

II. So how do you find these ezine publishers? You could do a long and tedious Google Search. But there is a better, faster way… I’ll explain in a minute…

III. How do you know if they sell “solo ads”? Your could write to all the list owners of the niche you are interested in and ask them if they allow solo ads… But there is a better, faster way… I’ll explain in a minute…

IV. How much does it cost? As low as $50 as much as $3000…but there is a way to test a big list only paying for the amount of emails you want to test (this is awesome when testing a new big list). Just look for the $price /M when doing your ezine search. That will be the price for 1000 emails to be sent. 5000 emails should be your minimum for accurate projections (used if you should want to “roll out” the entire list).

V. How big are the lists? Some are as few as a few thousand, I’ve seen some as big as 1.9 Million (with an “M”). What if I can’t write ad copy? Honestly, it’s probably a blessing if you can’t write ad copy. Most people who “think” they can write ad-copy actually cannot. They end up losing a lot of money due to pride. And you don’t need to write anyway. Most of the best selling and professional products offered as affiliate products already have proven, tested, successful ad copy written and readyfor you to use.

VI. So what is the better, faster way I was talking about earlier? I use the D.O.E. NO, that’s not the Department of Energy! LOL… It’s called the Directory of Ezines and it has a searchable database of the best and most productive ezines on the net. It filters all the riff-raff….jokers who tell you they have a great list, get your money and then you never hear from them again. All the DOE’s members are stand up, trustworthy ezine owners AND most of them have discounts for DOE members. Just add “DOE discount” to your search and BOOM you find ezines that offer solo ads at a discount! But you must be a MEMBER of the Directory of Ezines to do this.

When people first start off in internet marketing, whether it be affiliate marketing, PLR, or any other of the many internet marketing sub-niches, they have this mindset (I call it an infection) that tells them “if I can only find the one product that really shows me the way (the “holy” grail of internet marketing), then I will make it….. or some thought like that one…

C’mon, be honest, if you’re reading this blog, you are either there now or have been there in the past when you were first getting your start.

Now let me save you a big headache, heartache or lots of frustration… BUY EVERYTHING YOU CAN GET YOUR HANDS ON that you are interested in.

Why would I tell you to buy everything you can get your hands on that you are interested in? Because I did/do and every guy that is like  a mentor to me did/does… you never stop learning and even though some of the material you buy is going to be pure garbage (you can return it if it is seriously ridiculous or erroneously marketed), but you are going to find little nuggets in each one.

Not only that, some material will click with you and not with the next guy (or girl). It may be the personality, it may be the method of communication, it may be an accent (or lack of one)…etc… you get the point.  There might be a really good, time tested product that one guy gets a lot out of and one guy get only a little out of. It’s all good.  Because even if you’re the guy (girl) who only got a little out of a product or lesson….some of it will stick in your subconscious and it will make it stick out stronger when you hear it again.

If I were mentoring a new guy, I would tell him, give yourself a budget (say $200/mo. if you can afford it )[ if you can afford to buy as much as you can read, for sure do that]… try some stuff, and read some more, try some stuff, read some more….etc..

This way each product is going to help you get a little further and some really good products are going to take you MILES further, but you can expect to find the mother-load on your first dig ya know..

Sometimes you’ll find you went full circle, the first product you got was great, but you couldn’t grasp it all..you go off and try this and that and come back and re-read or re-apply the information from the first product and wham, it all makes sense now. That’s just the way it works.

You will find very, very, very few internet marketers who can say (honestly) “Oh yeah, I got this product and BAM! that was it, it was my first course and I just went wild and make a fortune with it….” that just doesn’t happen. Most people in ANY niche have read through mountains of courses, watched endless videos…etc…

This is a business and it is going to require some study.

Well, where do we start….hmmmm

ok, you can’t be successful if you aren’t making sales, and you can’t make sales if no body is buying what you are selling…

Soooo, you’re going to need to find a market where people are actually paying for something.

You need to find a “hot” market.

Ahhh, well, sounds easy… so what do you do to find a hot market??

There are many ways and I believe Terry Dean has one of the best informational packages out there for helping you figure it out. (This is NOT an affiliate link) – Truth Prints

But for the sake of brevity, I think just about every internet marketer would agree that the top places for finding hot markets are the places people buy things that also have the most traffic… places like ebay (pulse.ebay.com), amazon(top sellers), clickbank…etc…

After you check them out, you can get an idea of what is selling and from there you can choose something you are interested in selling.

That is the beginning.

Next is research…. is your hot market worth getting into? Can you AFFORD to get into it? (hint: I tried weight loss in the begining..ouch! VERY expensive).
